Exercise Challenge


If you don’t take care of your body, where will you live?

 

The exercise challenge will be focusing on how to increase your physical productivity every day! 

 

You will need to start getting active, not only after hours but from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep!

 

Rules

 

  • Get motivated and get active!
  • This challenge will be judged on the photos, videos and documentation received.
  • Remember to communicate with the NHP wellness team.
  • Download an app to your cellphone or get a pedometer that will assist with counting your daily steps from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep.

 

Judging Criteria

 

You will receive points for every challenge you participate in.

 

Monthly Challenge

 

Week 1: (5 points)
6000 steps per day

 

Week 2: (5 points)
7000 steps per day

 

Week 3: (5 points)
8000 steps per day

 

Additional challenges

 

During week 1-3 (in no specific order or week)

 

Join any 21 day challenge on Google (10 point)
Google any 21 day challenge to participate in – plank challenge, ab challenge or go wild and pick a burbee challenge, this is your choice.

 

Join at least 1 park run or walk (10 point)
Join at least 1 park run or fun walk and score extra points if your family or colleagues join you.

 

Make a workout- walk meeting or date (10 point)
Change your meeting or date from the office or restaurant to a workout-walk. The 10 to 20 minutes you would have spent sitting down to have a meeting, you can use to exercise. Change your coffee date to a 3 km walk and drink water instead of coffee.

 

Remember to track your steps on your steps calendar

All additional challenges should include a 2 to 4 minute video and enough photos. We want to really see your effort. We would like to see the creativity, spirit, enthusiasm and originality in the challenges.


TIP: Use your steps calendar to record your progress.

 

Reminder: 

 

Include 2 to 3 liters of water daily and eat 3 to 5 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables every day.
